Howdy all. My D2 does that thing where you press unlock on remote and only the driver's door unlocks until you press it again. I nearly kicked the passenger door today when I got round there for the 375th time to find it was locked :D.
Just wondered if there is a key combination or other way to turn that extra secure unlocking method off so all doors unlock when unlock button is pressed?

Thats what it programmed to do, if you required all five doors to unlock simultaneously on a single press of the fobs button that is another programmable option.

Yep I know it's programmed to do that. Was asking how to change it if it can be done. Good news that it can, but any idea how? Is it a case of dealer + computer or some kind of thing I can do with some secret trick like turning key 3 times while holding button or something like that?! Thanks

Yes one option is a LR main dealer and for the DIY option u will need one of those handheld Nanocom gizmos that some advise to purchase for the D2 on the forum, plug it in and away u go... I believe :)

aaah. Yes I have heard that mentioned somewhere on here before. Thanks. Seems a bit extravagant just for this purpose but maybe I can find other uses for one so I can justify it to the ball and chain. hahaha, as if I have to justify anything to anyone, pah, free man on the land, thats me.......

If you are lucky you may find someone close to you who has one and would use it on your motor.
But as your location is noted as "UK". It makes the chance of finding someone a bit difficult.

Cheers

ha thanks yes. Not showing my location doesn't stop me finding someone near me ;)
I be in Cornwall, thought I updated that a while ago, will get on it. thanks

Anyone know how to do this with a Foxwell as it gets on my t!ts too?!
Incidentally just used its OBD2 thingy to turn of a MIL on Wifey's Citroen Pluriel! Can't do that with a Nanycom can you? Or can you?

Why switch it off before fixing whatever it’s trying to tell you something needs attention

Ours is programmed to 1 click only driver door open, M changed it with the GAP. I just got used to it but when M is driving I quiet often have to tap on the window so she lets me in, maybe it’s a sign:eek:

Lol!

Re Citroen, having checked all the things I could on the blessed car to try and find what had switched it on, and finding nothing, I thought I'd do the usual "clear all faults" thing and see it it reappeared. it did, but this time it goes out when you rev the car a bit and stays off.
Her car is funny like that. It turned its electric power steering off for no reason once recently. After mucking about, trying to get to the bottom of it I followed the advice on the Citroen forum and simply disconnected and reconnected the battery. The powersteering miraculously reappeared and has worked faultlessly ever since.

We are of course keeping an eye on it and now we are in France, if it reoccurs we'll bite the bullet and get it read and diagnosed by the local citroen garage. The light covers fueling, exhaust and timing/sparks so not too worried about it for the mo! (The engine still runs!);)
