Sump guards Question

I have a protective sump guard from my early Freelander. Will it fit the Facelift 2004-2007 easily enough?
Its similar to the one on the right (thank you whoever took the picture.)

Aye, it will bolt straight on.

The early undertrays had more bolts at the front (4 rather than 2) and more 'protrusions' for them, but they do fit no problems on later cars.

I believe they were also slightly different between engines with heat shields in different places for different exhaust positions - but that presumably doesn't matter with an after market sump guard.

Thanks chaps, thats great news, a relief anyhow as I didn't want to fork out for another.
I was always pleased to have one fitted, just gave some confidence when over the rocks and muck.

Now secured my next Freelander 2004 Facelift TD4 3dr Auto. Lets hope the investment pays off and the car has plenty of luck built in to give a good few years of service. It will be looked after, but needs to work for its living.
Next few weeks I'll get it to just how I want it. Think its a good car so just a few bolt on bits, and weather proofing.
I expect I'll be asking a few questions once I start, got to pick it up first. Needs a tow bar for pulling a small trailer, and rock sliders.

If you get the auto, make sure it's had a fluid change, and that it will reverse up a steep hill. It's not uncommon for the reverse brake band to wear prematurely, giving only partial reverse ability. Also make sure that all forward gears engagement is smooth, without thumps and bangs.

Its a Freelander, its old, but the one I'm getting should, better be, pretty great with the very low milage it has. Low milage means nothing, but I expect this to be excellent and the previous owner is an airline pilot!! Buying a vehicle has a whole lot of risk attached. It will be a five hour test brive back! Full POL check before I start and probably half way back too.

Just taking off the odd bit from my last 3dr before its off to the skrap yard. Unsure what is worth taking off now. Its stood for a year and well beaten up. Took a year to let it sink in that it was properly dead. Sad on me, like losing a pet!

Keep it, then use the parts as and when you need them. It's guaranteed that the parts you scrap, will be the parts you need!!

Ah I see. Then keep the injectors, alternator, starter, HP fuel pump, turbo, wheels and anything else that is broken or damaged on the replacement FL1.

Just taken the rails and rack off, and dismantled. The expedition rack will need sandblasting, some welding. All a respray, so good for another 10-15 years.

Now its raining!

Not sure what's worse. The guy I work with is struggling to clear rats from his garage after one chewed through the loom on his Lexus RX450 hybrid.

Unfortunately I get those too. The underside of the back seat cushion of my Avenger is looking decidedly chewed after last winter's rat invasion.

I've taken lots of remedial action this year, including replacement of the wooden doors, which were a bit rotten on the bottom. I've also got poison and rat snapper traps too. I don't want the little critters doing any more damage to parts I can't replace.

Update, the sump guard fitted easily enough. Side plastics even fitted very nicely. Only the front bumper plastic needed trimming. Looks great.

I believe it is. Bought it a long time ago.
Now fitted to my 2004 3dr Facelift project. The red theme is being taken throughout; a bit of a classic look green with red flashings.

The one on the right in the top post, yes it is. Will fit all FL1's.
