Big thanks to @Datatek and @Mark Piercy.

Thanks to Datatek for the mod and instructions, thanks to Mark for giving me the confidence to do it!

Finished today, together with some other Mod's, (moved the oil cooler) and finishing the water pump change.

And it only Bloody Works!

I mean, I was always sure Datateks mod was right - but it was my ability execute it that was under doubt!

Cheers,

Nick

Is that dial falling out? Spot of glue required? Stove glue will be high temperature.

What's the mod? Can't figure out what I'm looking at in the pic
Depends which one you are looking at. Photo's in this thread are Datatek's fan mod' - i.e. removing the viscous fan and as @Grrrrrr , @myfirstl322 and @tomcat59alan all said - using the air con fans to cool the rad' if it requires it.

However, there is also a link to another Mod' - 'Salisbury Nicks Gearbox Oil Rad' mod, where I removed the Gearbox oil cooler from the front lower spoiler behind the fog light blank and re-located it to behind the EAS system in the engine bay. (Time will tell if this is a successful mod'!) Venerable members have their doubts....
