grippa recon everyone on the forum should have a copy of the code of conduct and abide by it, when we where out over the weekend spent some time talking to some of the locals when we fretting about going through some of the fords and what they didnt like was the loonys tearing through the lanes and fords at ridiculous speeds, but where quite happy with those who had a bit of respect for the lanes and fords and drove respectfully.

The point is the old lady who lives next to standon ford was quite happy to give us a bit of advice for driving thru it because we sed we wont gonna ragg it thru.She said she was quite happy for people to use the ford but gets annoyed when people use it "like a disneyland attraction watersplash!"
We nearly bottled it before talking to her!

That isn't actually a point, well not one that relates to my post! That's merely an anecdote that supports the notion that you were responsible forders.

My recommendation that the GLASS code of conduct was stuck and locked at the top of the greenlaning section was because of an observation that more and more people on here are starting to go greenlaning. It wasn't directed at you lot FFS! Either you've a guilt complex or you don't actually read posts?

You only need is a few more dumb cun'ts ter think "oooo, that looks fun", get carried away & churn up lanes they shouldn't have driven at any speed or like you say, treat fords like a log flume and we're all farked.

Take a chill pill FFS, I'm just trying to keep our lanes open for a few more years than currently looks likely. :rolleyes:
 
ohh didnt know about abate!There was one lane that we did which was blocked by cars.So in theory we could have asked those cars to be moved?

yes you can, but go about it in the right way. there is a lane that we do where the guy parks his car in the gateway, i have knocked on his door at 08:00 on a sunday morning before now to ask him to move it. he allways comes out and shifts it and usually apologises as well. it aint what you ask, its the way you ask ;)
