P38A EAS mystery

Hi all I have a diesel 2002 p38 2002. It’s giving me an eas fault. I’m getting vehicle has moved and vehicle speed fault codes and the sensors and giving false readings intermittently. I know the pump valve block and ecu are good as are the front air bags. Apart from changing the sensors and rear air bags are there any other parts to look at and change?

ignore the vehicle has moved one, have a look at the white connector block behind the left hand a post trim for green corrosion, most cut plug out and solder and heat shrink the cables,
what diag kit are you using .

Vehicle speed fault is an unusual one, intermittent readings form height sensors should give a definitive fault but height sensor problems are often down to corrosion in the sensor connections.
As Brian said, I also suggest cutting out the white connectors at the bottom of the left hand side A post behind the kick panel, corrosion in those connectors is a common cause of problems. Also worth checking the connectors in the EAS box which are also a known cause of problems.
With the EAS software, are you getting the green "Good Idle" button?
What version of windows are you using?

I have good idle all the time. It’s on an old laptop running windows 7. Thanks for the help I’ll try these at the weekend. Any other things worth checking

Are you using a USB to serial adaptor?

Vehicle has moved is not a fault, it means nothing other than the suspension has woken as it should to level the car. No action is required.

Also check driver pack to solenoid connections, as these can cause strange intermittent faults.

For the vehicle speed fault, check the EAS ECU is actually getting speed info at ECU (C331 pin 30 ) from the BECM. (Same signal is used for cruise.) Don't think this is displayed in EASunlock, so you will either need Nanocom, or a 12V meter that can show the volts pulsing when the wheels are spinning !!

Vehicle speed is fed from ABS ECU to suspension ECU pin 30 connector C0867. Track is, out pin 3 of C0504 ABS ECU connector. In to pin 11 of C1289 BECM. Out pin 13 of C1288 BECM to pin 30 of C0867 air suspension ECU. See RAVE for connector locations and wire colours.
