P38A Viscous coupling

Anyone got any tips on removing the viscous coupling from a p38 2.5 1996 it's currently in 2 wd as previous owner removed prop I have a replacement VC and would like to put it back to 4wd
 
its straight forward just unbolt housing and remove if you havent an impact gun slacken flange nut first vc come off with the housing which after flange is removed can quite easily be tapped out with a copper hammer etc you need to jack up the transmission and remove mount iirc

no its a 30mm socket sized nylock you can reuse it as long as it looks ok which it will as its protected from the elements when props bolted on, theres a rubber sealing washer behind the washer it can be reused or use some silicone sealant to seal the splines
 
I dropped the g/box cross member, it made a big difference. You will need to support your box though as it has the box mounts on it. You can refill with new oil aswell.
