It's bloody annoying. On the rare occasion I throw something out it could have come in useful. When I think back I had collected the old pistons, old bearing shells, oil rotor and other bits in a box, I think I chucked them out with that lot, thinking I'd never need them.

Haha! Yes I have often definitely not needed something , usually small cheap parts/fixings , before throwing them out only to find myself very much in need of them only a couple of week later
Sadly part of a never ending battle to keep shelves tidy and organised in my shed.
