So I need to drill through a 1992 body, unspoiled for all them years, to mount 2 reversing cameras at the top back corners of my tratter. I might put each bracket camera on the roof rack, or just under the rim of the roof. They're wired sony tvl 700's. I'm guessing it'll be an M8 or M10 hole. Where would you drill the holes? Cheers in advance if you reply.

I put my cam in the xmember towing leccy hole.
Mine are for looking down the sides, if you can see on the pic, if I drive onto drive rather than reversing, I can't see pedestrians, especially in summer through the hedges when reversing onto the busy road. Because I live next to the hospital, there's about 500 pedestrians walking the path and I've already had some near misses. The cameras will point to see down the pavement when the back end of my tratter gets to the driveway/pavement boundary. How do you find muck and dirt management with cams so low?

I brought the cable out for my rear work light by freeing the roof to rear quarter bolts and made a gap in the seal strip for it to pass through.

Think I'd be mounting them on the rack if you can - probably with insulated p clips ( or two ;) ) - and then feeding the wires as tottot says in post #5 .... I'd avoid drilling any more holes in a deafener o_O

I'll to see if it's something I can do. Sounds a bit complicated. Is there more detail to how the roof prizes off?

Have you really bin to Australia in that?
No. It's a friends and family sticker bomb board. When they go on holiday or emigrate, their mission is to try and send a sticker, the idea being that I rember them on my travels. The type of friends I have means in reality that by August it's gonna have Benidorm and Ibiza all over it lol :D:D

If you remove the door seal from the roof section, you should see where the roof and side panels meet. Chances are this area will have some dumdum in it for sealing purposes. If you squash the cable into the dumdum, and then replace the door seal, it should give you what you want.

Ahhh sorry dude. I didnt see the pic on my phone! As for the cam being low not much of an issue with muck gets a bit dusty every now n then but nothing major. I tried the cam on the number plate light, roof and a few other places. Couldnt get a long with it as I couldnt see what I wanted to see, if you see what I meant? lol

Stuck in the towing leccy hole I can see exactly what I want makes parking super easy
