Diff lock evo 1 gear

I used it in an l77 and it made a noticeable improvement but leaked out after a few months or so and was too expensive to keep buying it.

When I got my Land Rover, the first major service I did I put the relevant Difflock Evo product in my transmission. I think the gear change improved. There's a bit of a knack to changing gear on my R380. Going from first to second you have to shove the gear lever well over to the left and second to third requires you to let go of the lever when it is in the neutral position so as to let the spring centre it and then push forward with one finger. If you try and keep your hand on the lever it won't go in. After a while I changed it again and now use standard MTF 94, changing it every couple of years and that's almost as good. The main thing is to keep changing it, as the R380 seems to accumulate sludge and metal dust, and an oil change cleans it out a bit.

I was trying to decide whether to use it or not and have a little trial between the MTF94. ATF dex 3 and the difflock evo stuff, the only things I have seen about it are good minus the leaking

I used it in mine for years. Using MTF now, but will probably change back next oil change. Never leaked then and still doesn't.
