hi the problem I have is I have noticed over the last couple of weeks the lights are no longer turning off when I remove the key and lock the car. I have rsw diagnostics have checked that and it comes up with no faults. what use to happen when i had the lights on was the main beam would turn off when I removed the key and when I locked the car all lights would go out, but now when I remove the key the main beam goes out but side lights stay on when I open the door I now get a warning saying lights on, and when i lock the car the lights stay on .tis is not great as I am bound to forget to turn them of at some point.as mentioned I do have rsw diagnostics so can change the settings but have looked and cant find anything that will resset it back to the way it was

Hi Barry,
Reading through some old posts found your request for help with lights staying on. Did you get anywhere with this? If not I would strongly recommend looking for some dehumidifiers to place in the cabin as my RR was a dog for electrical issues when I first got it but now I have two of the rechargeable units that Halfords sell and find them needing to be dried out every two to three weeks, even in the summer months. Now we are into wet days and cold nights it'll be every week for sure. Fingers crossed my plan will be robust for the third year. It also helps to drive the car every few days just to stop any condensation creeping in. Good luck.
Tricky.

Keep the aircon running, that will dry the interior.

If its on dip beam when switch off you should get follow me home lights then every thing off, if you have it on side lights only then they will stay on as if parking at night in a 40 zone.

Right, today I had a read of drivers manual (its a man thing not reading instructions you girls know that) and it does say if switch ignition off with headlights on it goes to side lights and message on dash lights on, if you then switch light switch to off the head lights come on for 40 seconds. So maybe @barry williams yours now does what it should (which seems strange if it did as you say before) mine is 2004, head light delay is some thing I never use the first thing I do when getting in the car is start the engine then its seat belt, wipers, lights what ever required and when pulling up its every thing off then engine off give the turbo time to spool down its some thing all drivers with turbo engine cars need to do just might be a few less turbo failings then.( cant believe I got all that typed and forum didnt time me out like it did when first came on here lol)

Hi thanks for your message. I will have a look in my manual , it does seem strange that it is now doing what it is suppose to do may be it had Bern reprogrammed to go of after ignition was turned of and when it went into garage they changed it back to default settings . But as I mentioned I have an rsw diagnostic tool and can't find any settings that will change it back. One thing I forgot to mention is know when I pull away I get a beep a few seconds after from the rear of the car it sounds like the same beep as the parking sensor but only one this never use to happen either,

Hi Barry, I have over the years had several cars with "when I pull away" issues and in almost every case it is a momentary electrical contact. Whether this is a moving wire or "drop of water" that is the most likely cause. I think you have a mission to find that random issue and report back. Good luck.
Tricky.

Don't think it's water as inside of mine bone dry even in the rear quarters and spare wheel bay. I am sure this is not a lose connection either. I suspect it's a lock activating or the parking sensor disabling itself as it only seems to happen above about 10mph , but again this never use to happen before it went into garage for repairs , I am going to ask land rover when it goes in for service in January

Nothing to add 're issues but just wanted to clarify, you take a 13yr old car to a main Land Rover dealer for its service?
Also, why not just ask them now, rather than waiting until January?
