There are several separate manuals and not all are always included.
There is a system description and operation, workshop / repair manual, electrical library and also electrical wiring diagrams, let me know if you cant find anything as i may be able to email it.

You could do with a good independent land rover specialist as these are quite complex without the right diagnostic kit and you can make things worse by not following some of the simple procedures but they are pretty robust i have found.
if you have a few spanners we can help you, the rave manuals are excellent to read through even if you don't intend to attempt surgery.

I have been taking things apart since I was about 5 years old when i stripped down our record player according to my mum but it took me until I bought a range rover to learn the benefits of making a note of how you took it apart so you could put it back together.

The record player never went again but i do recall removing all the door handles from our house as i had found a screwdriver and when my mum's friend asked me why i told her that i loved screwing..
So let that be a lesson for you, if you are 45, drunk and find a screwdriver, don't think that removing all the door handles to prevent your mum's church group from leaving is a good thing to do and neither is telling them you love screwing - that will only make things worse for you in court.

Ha ha this is too funny well I’ve done plenty screwing in my time but a bit unsure when it comes to the landy, I’m a bit dubious about putting my tool in something I don’t know much about

Let him get a few threads under his belt and then let him know that none of us have even been in a range rover and we are are only here because range sounds like mange and Rover is an old favourite name for a dog so basically this is a dogging forum.
However, it is also coincidental that range rovers are not good for dogging as unless you keep the engine running, against protocol as I am led to believe, then the buggers ( range rovers not the actual buggers although thinking about it I might mean buggerers) won’t start no matter how competitive you are , which is almost as embarrassing as taking the local church group on a church roof fund raising session to the local dogging lay-by when they thought a jamming session was going to involve strawberries
