TD5 died on the way home.

Hello all.
I need some help determining cause of an issue regarding my TD5. I noticed a problem while driving as the engine sounded rougher then the usual. It seemed go to away as the engine warmed up. The next day driving home it felt like it was not firing on all cylinders and died while stuck in traffic. It would not start at all. Fuel delivery problem ? The fuel pump runs and runs for a couple minutes and times out. Ì took the fuel pressure sender off the regulator and turned the key. Fuel does come out. Any possible causes or checks I should do? Thanks

Fuel blockage in tank, or new pump required

Check the pressue at the FPR, may just be the LP side of the pump is working.

Thank you for your response. I have a sneaky suspicion it may be the fuel pump as I have learn from the following reply that there is a L.P. side to the pump hense why I get fuel flow with no real pressure.
