Hi guys
Can anyone tell me if the oil cooler pipes on a Discovery 200tdi are the same as on a Defender 200tdi as I can only find Discovery 200tdi pipes or 300tdi pipes, mine are the ones with the O rings in the rad / oil cooler fittings :)

I think one set is longer than the other and, of course, where you have mounted the engine and type of gearbox.
If you've got the hoses get pirtek or the like to make new ones to your length using the old fittings, that's what I did.

I would do what Flossie says. It seems to be a bit pot luck with those pipes. I've just replaced mine (Fender 300Tdi) with the 300Tdi ones and they're not a good fit. One pipe is tight up against inner wing and I'm not happy with it. For peace of mind +1 with @Flossie

Don't know if you are aware or even it would improve your situation but you can rotate the fitting within the ferulle on most hydraulic pipes to alter the fit.

The ones I've got are the ones from my old 90 which fit great as they are but are a bit old and grubby and as I don't have any wheels to use thought it would be easier to order from ebay but all the ones I see are either disco 200 or 300 pipes.
when I put the disco engine into the 90 I took the 90 to an hydraulic specialist to make new pipes up which I could probably do again once the 2a is back on the road but was hoping to get them by ordering :)
