DTI gage bracket

Anyone know where I can get an adjustable bracket for a dial gauge?

Not one with a magnetic base but one you can bolt onto different surfaces.

Need to set the preload on LT230 centre diff

i use rolling resistance

not now i just use feel as ive done so many over 30 years,but yes wrap string round and pull with a spring balance,then same with input and also with input whilst setting intermediate with diff in neutral

To be fair not the hardest to work out bodges but initially didn’t think there was a good flat surface to clamp too.
