Sooo been using my 110 recently but I'd rather not as it drinks diesel and even though I've made it comfy, its still just comfy for a fender. Not actually comfortable
So been thinking of something to use as a daily for work that would be mildly interesting (I can't drive a shi tey fiesta itll just make me sad! ) D2 springs to mind as its an car a kinda know, same fluids etc as my 110, easy enough to maintain and should return half decent mileage - I'm thinking roughly 30 - 35mpg for a manual?
Also reasonably cheap but can I get anything half decent for £1500 - £2k can't really afford anything more than that.
Of course would need a few mods done EGR blank, remap etc...
Secondly the reasoning behind a D2 is I can use it for work for the foreseeable future then when I can afford it/want to do it it can be turned into a comp safari truck or a racer.
So any reason to avoid one? I know the rear 1/4 can rot to shi te and a few other various issues but nothing I can't handle I don't think.
Comments? Criticisms?
