flux TD5 insurance New driver

Does anyone know if Flux will insure a new driver on a defender? Just tried to get my wife (42) onto my policy and met a brick wall. Thought they specialised in Landy insurance?

Hi there,

We don't under usual circumstances preclude someone's spouse from being named on their policy. However, you make reference to 'new' driver so do we take it that she has just passed her test?

If so, it's likely that your own current insurer won't allow a driver to be added who hasn't held their licence for more than 12 months. It could well be that we'd have to attempt to find another insurer who are prepared to cover a newly passed driver on a Defender.
