Sorry I’m late with this reply been busy ,but that’s what I’m after raptor engineering have good products but I need to find something a bit cheaper money is a bit tight at the mo, and thank you for the info,,,

Good original binnacles are hard to find and expensive when you do (as you have experienced they go brittle and start cracking all over the place).
A brand new one is around £75 so for that you may as well buy the Raptor item.
I sold a used but practically as-new one a couple of weeks ago and it went for over £50 (just the binnacle, no instruments).

That’s a shame that price is just about right fo me but raptors £79:00 is at this time out of reach for me, I will bide my time, one may come along I can afford if I get in quick enough

Go raptor - i recently installed their steel binnacle in my 110 and also replaced the mud plastic console with theirs. installed led bulbs at the same time. Brilliant. no rattling any more. rate it very highly.

The raptor stuff really is worth saving the pennies for! Gaffer tape worked for months on my broken binnacle until I got round to putting my hand in my pocket.:) It also continued to work for a considerable time after I got it because I kept not getting around to fitting it:oops:

Ok guys you convince me, I will put the pennies away and go for the raptor, but as I’m going back into hospital for more surgery this will take time Even more now as I’ve just look on their site to find out about this BINNACLE have you seen the price of that ooo I now have a target so I have a mission to aim for

I repaired mine using thin plate and rivets in a number of places. I hate taking it off as it almost always cracks again!
