Bought this today and on the second rivet this happened...piece of ****. Not buying draper again.

I was replacing the bottom seal on the doors. The rivet jammed and when I tried to pull it off that happened.

I have been going to the gym recently...
 
Draper redline is the bottom end diy range and as such is cheap

It should however have lasted longer than it did but you can buy higher priced and better quality draper rivet guns
 
Haha yeh might give draper a miss for a while. I had seen those. Do they snap the rivet off in one go or does it take a few pulls?
If you get it to full extension ( o_O ooh er!), then one pull is enough ( :eek: its getting worse ) - and if you can't, then multiple pulls will be required :rolleyes:

And, yes, I am taking about the lazy tongs riveter :D

Mine has set boxes and boxes of rivets over the years I've had it - whether the modern ones are the same quality or not, I've no idea !!
