Hi there guys,

Further developement today. The more I talk , the more bull*hit I hear.

I was told today, that Mayfair were waiting for Stratsone Milton Keynes to receive the service book, hopefully today. That was what I was told today. I had a chat this afternoon, and Mayfair, have indeed spoken to the previous owner of the car. The previous owner has stated that, he worked for a major firm, which they pay towards vehicles for their staff. So techically a company car. As this gentleman was not too impressed with Hadley Green, he got the firms independent garage, who they look after all the cars to service the vehicle. Now the car is a 53 reg and have been told that it has only done 2 services buy this independant chap. Some warranty work from Hadley Green. And thats all. The car has 17k miles and the last service was done last June. I am just surprised that Milton Keynes actually took this car in based on this issue. Surley breech of agreement from the previous owner.

Mayfair have tried to re assure me that the car is ok, they will service it, one year warranty, and they will attempt to sort the service history. Now, I was told, that the previous owner today confirmed, that he had miss placed the service book. So I am starting to smell a bad egg.

They have taken my deposit and I feel no confidence on what is going on. I tried to explain to Mayfair, that there is now reason that the car was ever serviced, as from experience, not very hard to stamp a book if the previous owner knows the right people. What are your thoughts and what do you reccommend to do. Legally, I have still not signed anything or had a receipt for my deposit. I can confirm that the cheque I wrote has been cashed in.

Just shocked that I am in another nighmare already.

Regards

Nick

Very simply, you need to decide if you really want the car. If you do, let them carry on and take delivery of the car. If you don't ask for your deposit back - You have enough reason if this is the route you want to take.

Cheers

Obviously you have nothing else better to do than be a sarcastic ****. People like you take pleasure of other people concerns. Everyone has been so nice, and there is you going on with zzzzzzzzzzz and stuff. If you dont like the thread, then do not reply ,simple.

I thought a forum was there to discuss other people concerns and technical issues. I am a member of the Porsche Forums, and for years have I not received such sarcasm from one individual.
