I need some for a 300tdi

Ive access to an old version of microcat, which ive put the VIN into and its given me eiher one piece or two piece?

Who knows which i want?

The one piece set is listed as -

mxc5968 / mxc5969

but then i understand that the td5 ones are ASR1390 or possibly LR019162 etc.

Are they all basically the same?

This is the link to the YRM galvanised ones. LINKY
I think for the 110's some had all in one cappings and some had the corners and the straight side bits separate.

The yrm ones have undergone a massive price hike just recently, and im loath to spend £300 on an easily replaceable part, when the standard is more like £100 - i just need to be sure i get the right bits.

I think im going to order the ASR1390 (and the other side) bits tomorrow, and hope for the best!

Is this any help?

While I was doing all that work i would be tempted to save up for galvanised ones. Or, get some galved myself. Are your so far gone? Might they clean up enough to galv them?

My think about the galvanised ones -
Theyre a whole load of money and described, by yrm, as almost being 2nds. And the price keeps going up, which bothers me.

The bulkhead is a major bother to change, whilst the cappings are not so much of an issue - i mean, if they rust though in 5 years, its probably only an afternoon to change them.

Id consider dipping them myself, but, after the dubious service i got with the bulkhead (in fairness, it came good in the end) i wouldnt use my local plant again.
