I recently drove the wife's Freelander 2 and noticed that there was a bad vibration / wobble when braking from around 50mph. I checked brakes and noticed that there rear disks / pads were badly worn. I replaced both today but after test drive the vibration is still there. I did notice that the rubber around the piston on the calliper on the (rear passenger) has perished. Could this be causing the vibration? The Freelander had the tracking done and balancing done a couple of weeks ago. Also after doing this work I've noticed that the handbrake is know worse than before I started. Is the handbrake a separate brake?
Any help appreciated
