Righty then, looks like it's my last day with the horrid little gaylander tomorrow.
After the misery I've had driving it around, I think it owes me some pleasure.
I'm not at work tomorrow so I'm very tempted take it for a trundle along some ropey old dirt tracks.
Can anyone give me exact details of access points and egress points for some green lanes local to the Birmingham area?
A good link will suffice.

Here's a good link before any greenlaning, especially if you haven't been before. Green Lane Association Ltd. - Home Second bit of advice, do not go alone (espesh' in a Gaylander! :rolleyes:)

As to lanes, don't know the area & people don't generally advertise good green lanes on an open forum. There's too many ****s about. Get a Landranger map, preferably contact your local rights of way officer to check for TRO's and any likely looking by-ways against his definitive map then go and get stuck! ;)
 
We're on the Warwickshire side of Worcestershire. Does that count? We're new to green-laning / off-roading and only got our Discovery 2 earlier this year. We have done some in Wales but aren't that active at the moment as the D2 is being serviced and having some upgrades done, but hopefully picking it up any day now. We haven't really had a chance yet to explore the somewhat limited local green-laning opportunities but more than happy to pair with anyone else wanting to go out and about in the area (or out of it).

It does count, as far as I'm concerned.
I'm new to green laning, bought my Range Rover Classic in Feb this year.
I've previously off roaded and done some stuff that's probably akin to green laning in Army 110s, but that's years ago now and I'd plan to take considerably better care of my own vehicle than we had to green fleet!
For that reason I'd be keen to start with some relatively gentle laning - not really looking to fill my footwells with mud and excrement!
I may not have picked the best time of year to start :D
