My thoughts on this:
Remove intake plenum and air filter box and unplug every sensor you can see. Blow any water out of the plug and spray in wd40. Same for injectors. Trace the turbo solenoid vent down to the solenoid, reach through the driver's side wheel arch and disconnect - then blow it through and reconnect.
As far as I know the MAF is a hot-wire type, so if suddenly cooled by water then this could have buggered the delicate wires. Therefore, leave the MAF sensor plug unplugged, but resting in place before you replace the intake plenum, etc. Then go for a test drive and see if any improvement has been made. You can always then click the MAF sensor plug back without having to take the air filter box off.
Odd that you have these severe problems and no check engine light - does it come on with the key, then go off?

I don't tend to take my computer in to the shower it tends to wet them and cause problems i find.

Nice picture of my home town. Could someone please pay over the odds for this freelander as it has been for sale for bl00dy months - it has been on Gumtree for so long I recognized the registration immediately!

What spec is it? Down this way Freelander's can sell for a lot more than that one, but it would depend on miles and spec.

I have been out in it. Nice but nothing special. Not my favorite dealer either.
Much better near here for much less.
The one below it on Gumtree has 68k on the clock and is a GS, £1300 cheaper. I'm tempted.

Down here, that's a reasonable price for what it is.
I'm hoping to look at a TD4 HSE auto with 66K on the clock this coming weekend on sale locally for £4495.

Same here. It's a seller's market down this way, especially at this time of year.
I'm finding seller's are trying to shift B or C grade Freelanders for A grade prices. It's infuriating, I just can't find the Freelander I want at a price I'm prepared to pay.
Maybe I should keep the Discovery?

T4 diagnostics may help or a Hawkeye - Going to get the garage onto this if all else fails, good advice thanks.

So the engine start up fine, no problems and I can hear the turbo, I’ve taken the air filter out and run the engine and still nothing… I’ll do as you guys suggested here and see what happens, presently it’s still buggered but will report back later..

Is the lift fuel pump running? It's located in front of the rear wheel. They can fail without warning. How deep was the water you drove through?
Is the lift fuel pump running? It's located in front of the rear wheel - I will check.... Its an in tank fuel pump and I think it doesn't have an external one in the wheel arch, I think this was for older models but will look...
How deep was the water you drove through? 2 foot.... I wasn't the only 4x4 but the only one to suffer!
