Just changed both N/S and O/S drive shafts and CV Joints after hearing loud rumble when applying full LH lock. Rumble is still there, any ideas as to what else it could be, most, as I, were convinced it was CV Joints.

Yes tyres are fine. The rumble appears to come from the NS front and can be felt through the floor.

It is often difficult to identify where rumbles are coming from, are you sure it is not the middle of the car? Frequently with Freelander it is the VCU/Prop support bearings (roughly under the hand brake).

As you say it is difficult to locate and could be from this region, would it not be continuous though and not only when I put on LH lock??

Wheel bearing, when you turn the steering wheel you put force on the wheel bearing that in a straight line it wouldn't get

The support bearings can moan at speed, but they are also put under stress when turning because the VCU is having to slip. Its also the time when the rear diff will bang/rattle if the mounts are worn. I suggested it because you are feeling it through the floor and that's where they are mounted.

The turning/continuous question could also be asked about other likely candidates as well such as a wheel bearing.

You could try removing the props and seeing what happens. If the noise stops though it doesn't necessarily mean the support bearings because it may just be that stresses are not being put through other parts of the transmission/suspension.
