Thanks for the replies, i think navy blue is a bit too harsh for series 3 cos there are no bits to split up the colour, really, not like on a 90/110 you got the fenders to break it up a bit,
Blue and off white, as in like cream colour? Also i dunt really like the sand colour.. just looks a bit rubbish to me.
What colour is limestone then, is it a shade of white? if so yea i like that ;) also, not really a fan of pastel green meself. just opinion though.
Again, thanks for the opinions, i'll get a thinky on while i am waiting for these parts.

Another option would be mid grey and limstone, my own is this combo see pic attached, like the pastel green also, mid grey seems rare enough where I am.

Took one of me transfer cases apart today.. only the shims and the main shaft is in bad nick really.. main shaft is rusty and the shims are.. well.. below average.

So i'll verify that tomorrow.

There was only the one shim, in behind where the retaining circlip was for the high gear..
i meant the shims between case and speedo housing which preload the taper bearings, the other is a thrustwasher, if you fit the a new bearing with a rounded inner edge it will only show as an issue when you preload the 2 taper bearings by fitting speedo housing as that bearing is then pushed against the circlip

oohhh i get what you mean, okay.

Hey guys, so today i started dissassembling the main gearbox, to replace to the bearings and gaskets. No oil in it when i was disassembling it, bit strange. So, my question, is: Anything i should watch out for before taking the bell housing bit off, and start pulling shafts out?

unless you have an air or battery gun remove box top and interlock and select 2 gears so you can undo front layshaft bolt (16mm socket),when removing selectors take 3rd 4th out first and refit last

All that has been undone, the bell housing is ready to come off, i'm just worried about things falling off/out inside that i should be aware of.
