in tank pumps dead

96 dse auto in tank pump is dead. Starts runs drives okay. is it possible there is a diesel inline pump can be done. Are these deer from the dealers the intank pump. Best solution dealer part?

Try Island 4X4 or Foundry 4X4, keep the tank over 1/4 full and you shouldn't have a problem starting. When you do the pump, drop the tank and check the brake pipes that run behind it. They are out of sight and out of mind until the burst.

Pipes done by previous owner a year ago when he droped tank to do the 1st pump and theres a cut in floor for mine as its now done the 3rd one and 1 faulty one in 14months he must of got cheap ones i was on fuel light this morning and evening with a dead pump and its hardly noticable. 10ml of diesel over 3 attempts to see the flow

Are you running SVO or biodiesel in it? That is supposed to kill the pumps.

Previous owner ran it only on cherry diesel. Iv put nothing but out the pump stuff shell 95% of the time

There's about 60ltrs of the stuff sat in drums where i took it out of the rangie
