Bike Rack Freelander 1

I've just brought a second hand bike rack which fits to the spare wheel. Unfortunately it has not instructions about how it should be fitted. I've had a quick search on the internet but couldn't find anything that helped. The principle appears to be fairly simple but I just want to be reassured.
