Evening guys,
Well, its time for more bloody faults! I had an intermittent issue with sound on my stereo/ICE. I have a retro fit Parrot kit but have now disabled it so its not that. Its a 2002 with DSP but not Logic 7.
Ok the head unit works perfectly and plays cds, radio, nav as it should. Recently though, the sound when you come to use the car again sometimes works, sometimes no sound. And when no sound it has an interference noise or brief crackle. Its not loose wires in the back and its also pretty dry so Im not thinking damp.
Ive tested the remote live and other power to the back and seems ok. Should I just bite the bullet and get another amp for it? Or do you have any other ideas? Is there a sure fire way to know its the amp. The wiring looks so bloody complex down there. Not the dash fuses etc....
