Hi folks. I have a P38 4.6 hse. I see a mesage on dash screen when i push 3-4 time the break pedal "TC Overheating" even if im stoped... What is worng???
So it sounds like an internal fault in the abs ECU, or as I said the connector.
could conceivably be a problem with the instrument cluster or even the BECM
On the four wheel TC 1999 and on it is possible to disable the TC for brake test on a single axle rolling road. This is done by pressing the brake pedal 10 times within 5 seconds of switching ignition on. TC reverts to active at 5 MPH. Maybe the ECU thinks TC is being used when pedal rapidly pressed 3 or 4 times who knows, but why do it in the first place. Does the message go away when he drives off? We don't know. How does he cancel it? We don't know. Information is king if you want an answer. Maybe stopping pressing the brake pedal when it's not needed is the answer.
No im in neutral or parking and i have press the pedal 3-4 time and the car is not moving... The message gose away even if i dont drive but for 1-2 second this apper on my dash...
