Good deal on , Halfords | Halfords Advanced 3 Tonne Ratchet Axle Stands
Just been talking about these on a Facebook group and then someone linked to these? Higher rating and longer reach.
Pair of 6 Ton Tonne Heavy Duty Car Van Caravan Vehicle Axle Stands Stand Trolley | eBay
Got the same ones out Costco over a year ago for under £15. Halfords are selling them now at proper price. If they gave better deals all year round they would do better business. Conning robbing gits in my opinion, and use only as an extreme last resort. Even their so called Pro tools are ****e compared to what they used to be like.
I'm the first criticise Halfords but I strongly disagree with your last remark. I feel their professional range is excellent value. They're well made and rarely fail and if I need to return/replacing an item they never squabble. Infact I tend to use my Halfords spanners more frequently than my snap-on ones.

I recently bought four individual spanners. Two off 10mm open end ring combi, and the same in 13mm. These are what I am looking for most, and keep misplacing the buggers. The ring ends are too large and loose. They will round off even a good condition nut without too much of a problem. I have older Halfords spanners that are excellent fit and quality. That was my point I made in my post. Newer stuff is ****.
So the halford ones arent 3 tons they are 1.5 tons each lol
Thats what i said lolThe Halfords Advanced 3 Tonne Ratchet Axle Stands have an easy ratchet mechanism, which allows you to quickly adjust the height of the stands before lowering your car onto them. They have a durable welded steel construction with a safe working load of 1.5 tonne per stand
I'm not convinced they are 6 ton rated
I read that as a combined rating 2 x 3tons
If you zoom in on the main picture and see the model No. HB633k, a search throws up
appreciate the stated heights are different, could be down to the Ebay advert using a stock photo but they don't seem have 410mm to 600mm capability
