Minor bodywork on Defender

Can minor oxidisation in the aluminium panels be repaired? I bought a 300tdi and it's very clean, with original paint.
But there are a few small scabs under the paint here and there, and l'd like to get them sorted if possible.

If so can anybody recommend somebody near to Stockport, Cheshire to do the work?

Get them rubbed down primed and painted, however to be honest once this has started the only way to solve this is to replace the panel.

If I had to replace a panel for all the corrosion I've got then I'd need to have a friendly bank manager!

Well yes l am now wondering if it is worth fretting about. It is just that the Landy is generally so clean that it would be nice to sort the few bits

Exactly! It's not like rust, I find it very difficult to stop the corrosion from coming back on aluminium.
