First tow in the disco cover car

So since the disco had to come off the road due to the spillage I bought a 1996 Lwb frontera with the 2.8tdi izuzu engine.
Towed my caravan up to the lakes with it last week and got to say although I prefer my disco the frontera tows like a beast.
I can't understand why as figures would benefit the disco really:
Disco 111bhp 264 n/m torque
Frontera 113bhp 242 n/m torque

Yet the frontera would pull the pants of my disco.

Anyways just thought I would share my experience. I will still be selling the frontera when I fix my disco though

Auto or manual Disco? If it's an auto then it will be revving into the high 2000s and be above the peak torque speed.

Has somone re-mapped the isuzu lump prior to you buying the Frontera? Also power output aside, how heavy is a Frontera compared to the Landy?

You can't tweak the pump until it's back on the road, you'll have no idea how far to go before the smoke starts.
