Thought I would document the changes over the passage of time for my little hippo!

It all started out with an MOT failure, which I said I would buy instead of scrapping....... So hence I came to accidentally own a freelander.

It was a stock 1.8 K series petrol with very high emissions. Poor compression on number 3 cylinder. No propshaft or VCU. But a lovely colour,

Before any add ons happened, I whipped the head off replaced the exhaust valves, new gasket set, head bolts, cambelt and water pump. Full exhaust system was fitted and a lot of cleaning!

Also visible are the carbon fibre wrapped side badges.

I then bought a 5 Dr diesel with the intention of fixing and selling it on, but in the mean time I relived it of its front bumper, bull bar and lamps.... I also picked up a set of headlamp guards.

Also what you can't see is the teal carpet changed for a charcoal one. Pioneer head unit with blue tooth and Ipod connectivity. Led strip boot light. Wooden parcel shelf.

Simon - you is just narky cuz I ain't bought a lift kit yet!

Thizzle - the reciver hitch is simply an adapter for my bike rack which is American. It is a drop plate badly welded to a bit of box section so that a 2inch tube will fit into it. I am now starting a different version so I don't have to unbolt the ball every time I go out on my bike.

looking good and different that's what I like about mine I will take some photos I have just renewed the Hella 3000's on my roof rack as the reflectors had ,had their day and now just put some grills on them which go with the headlight protector grills and the KC's on the A frame if weather is ok this weekend I will do it.

I know.... Takes more than that to offend.... Calling my mother names. Or somthing like that would do it but taking the proverbial is fine. This is LZ after all not Faceache!
