Got a bit more done lastnight, managed to get the chassis out from underneath the body. Was a bit tricky, i think i'll invest in some tall axle stands for putting it back together

Bye bye old chassis. She wasn't pretty!

Yeah it's galvanised chassis. Tank has previously painted with underseal and I can't be bothered lol

Did a bit more tonight. Transfer box build back up with new intermediate shaft, flywheel and clutch back on too. Then got a hand getting the engine and box together then mounted in the chassis.

A fair old shift today. Body lifted on and mounted. Rock sliders on, fuel tank connected, most of the wiring done, front brake pipes finished, power steering pump on. Only got photos of the lifting tho. Feels like I'm getting somewhere

Well I haven't updated this in a while. I've just been running it and enjoying it. This weekend I replaced the front discs, made up some brackets from the swivel to brake pipes and re painted the front calipers.

Plan is over the winter and spring is to collet body panels up and attack the bodywork in summer to get if to the same spec as the chassis :)

Got my door skins from splandrovers today, been waiting for them to come back into stock for a couple of months.

Bought a set of military rear wings a few months ago. Bought aluminium wire and argon and welded up all the extra holes.

Thinking about plastic front wings, are they any good?

Cheers
