Thanks for all the kind words, i would rather take my time and do it once than rush it and do it twice. I'm just learning as i go along!

It was a bit of a head scratcher! If i had to remove the wiring again i would spend more time labelling it up. What you stuck on?

lol the burnt out wires at the moment got a day planned on the wiring tomorrow, got a good idea where things go, (touch wood)

Well phase 2 of the project commencing! I've invested in a new chassis as i plan on keeping her now. Guess what i'll be busy doing this summer!!

You wouldn't be able to tell me what colour the paint is? Im rebuilding mine and I think its the same colour, and I was thinking of going to oslo blue but I think this would suit my defender better.

Some updated photos of the landy!

Also some of the galv chassis getting painted. I t-washed, 2 coats qd zinc phosphate primer and 2 coats manor chassis black paint.

Looks great, and the chassis will never rust!:)

Are you planning on getting all the tother rust spots (cappings, bulkhead etc.) galvanised too at some point? They do tend to rust quickly on these vehicles, no matter how well primed and painted they are unfortunately.

Did some more tinkering over the weekend. I'm planning on lifting the body and rolling the chassis out from underneath on a dolly, well thats the plan....

Spent a couple of hours lastnight and managed to drop the chassis down which felt like a bit of a milestone :)

Hopefully get her removed over the next few days
