Hello I'm new to LandyZone

Hi I'm currenly trying to fit a 300TDI with LT77 & LT230 to my 88 Series 3
I would like your thoughts on fitting Ashcrofts Part Time 4WD kit for the LT230
How much of a disadvantage will it be to loose the transfer box diff lock ?

Save your money ....Weve run a 88" S2 with LT77 for the last 4 years and the previous owner for several more previous (including towing Range rovers on a big trailer)

Ignore the 'Pub experts' that will tell you the sky will fall down and the world stop turning IF you run a LT77 with a standard front axle .....

Worst side effect is a slight notchiness on FULL lock in a DRY supermarket carpark ....other than that fine AND it makes for a VERY sure footed series in the wet OR lose stuff .
(Remember the LT77 has a center diff so wont cause transmission wing up UNLESS in diff lock )
