Any recommendations for a 240v plug in compressor, I have a pro one but i don't want to arse about wiring it in to the mains, it will be used to do up my series so it will need to run DA sander spray gun etc. I realise DA sanders use a lot of air.

I haven't specifically tried it with a sander, because I'm still using my electric sanders (belt and orbital) for most things. But the compressor's been very good. I last used it a couple of weeks ago to blast a bit more Dinitrol into the box sections and inside the bulkhead A posts. Still going strong. it is perfectly happy on an ordinary 3 pin plug and doesn't even make the pins warm.

Thanks for that, that's probably the route I will take.

I found my 100L (don't know the exact specs) wouldn't keep up with my da sander.
I made do at first and just gave the compressor a break every now and then.

I've since bought an electric orbital sander, quieter and less vibrations plus no waiting for the compressor to build up. Oh and no cold air blowing on your hands.
Wouldn't go back to the air sander now.
