The old subwoofer story

One of the speakers in the sub decided to come apart, i've purchased a replacement unit from the well known auction site, however i have a thought or two in mind.

does anyone have a spare speaker that works from a knackered sub.. not the whole sub just one of the speakers, as long as the foam is fair and the coil is free i'd be happy to take it orf your hands.

unit is the HK type with the two cones facing upwards.

I've got a damaged cone on one of my speaker (H&K) if you want to part with a good one

lol what's the damage on your cone? i'd be interested in having that off you. im going to have try at repairing them (i used to recone speakers and repair amplifiers in an old life)

Just rips in the cone, but I need a good one to replace it first, then you can repair both the knackered ones
