Defender Front Door cannot open HELP!!!

My door has jammed shut on my Defender 90 and cannot get it opened .
Any suggestions how I can get the door opened . If I removed the hinges can door be lifted off ?

It tin't funny the check strap holds it at the hinge side. & the latch closes over the retaining pin. So NO ya can't just unbolt hinges and lift the door clear..


As for getting a fender door open. FFS a 5year old could manage it with a bit of effort.

If you can take your door card off, get your hand in and pull the hinges/mechanisms, mine got stuck with the hinge that the push button on the handle hits, if you can find that then pull it and it should open.

Otherwise theres a couple of videos on youtube of where to look, and grab some wd40 and throw it around a bit
