disco 1 front seats...advice needed plz

hello, can anyone give me any info on disco 1 seats plz...the back on the drivers seat has broken somehow so it doesn't lock and moves constantly now. i presume its an MOT failure. is this a common fault? is it an easy fix or are we just better off getting some more front seats? does anybody have any for sale or know anyone that does? cheers, dani

Yes, it is an MOT fail ... it's not safe to drive with a dodgy seat is it ?

Yes, you can repair it ... take the seat out of the vehicle ... turn it so you can find out which bit is broken ...if needed remove cover and foam ... weld or replace broken bit ... refit foam and cover ... re-fit seat ...

:scratching_chin: obv fix it. but in a crash i'd expect the seatbelt to keep you and the seat anchored.
