I did a little research and couldn't find a definitive answer on what oils I need to use.
It's a 1993 200tdi it's done just shy of 125k, I've changed the oil and filter and given it a check over, both front and rear diff seals are leaking and the front transfer box seal is leaking. So I'm going to change the seals and want to drain and refill with fresh oil. While I'm at it I'll change the gearbox oil too.
It's used mainly on road, does around 35-40 miles a day on road, then the odd weekend off-roading.
What oil do I use in the;
Gearbox.....
Transfer box....
Front diff...
Rear diff...
I assume I use the same in the diffs, and the the same in the boxes?
Currently there's starting to get a bit noisy I think from the transfer so I need to get on and sort it out Before I run it completely dry.
Any help would be appreciated.
