"Thunderpole CB Radio Off Roader Pack - T1000"
Length: Full Size Orbitor (1.55m), Mount: Gutter Mount, Colour: Orange

No longer will I be alone in the D1,

As for the breaking into my own car,

Centeral locking packed out, locks seized up, disassembled all my doors in a Tesco car park, generously applied WD40 and hey ho all the doors work as new,

Probably a good thing its my work vehicle and carries around £900 worth of tools,

Should probably fix that one door that doesn't lock at all lol

nice! be careful as oil picks up dirt and can clog up again. if you can it's best to use graphite as a lube in locks. :)

If theres ever a next time, its gonna be done properly lol

Had a tube of copper grease in the back as well, but I was getting hot and bothered, was on the verge of ripping the whole lot out, spraying WD40 probably saved me 45mins and probably a door mechanism lol

haha, yeah couldn't have been fun.

did nobody ask what you were upto?

i'd have thought taking doors off in tescos might lead to some raised eyebrows

The fuzz rocked up and asked what I was doing and if it was my motor,

Manager as well seeing what I was up to, offered me some water, gladly accepted,

Thankfully was parked a little walk from the main parking, didnt attract so much attention,

Kinda glad my days over now, sat outside with the dogs, :D:D:D

LOL .. alls well that ends well eh..

I`m normally a frequent tesco shopper, but buy oil more than food at times.
as my face is often seen by there door security teams, I was walking out after paying, and a newer member of security was asking was asking the older guy what was I up to,
heard him say - "oh, he puts it in his landrover outside"

we are being watched.......................lol

I fitted one ages ago. Reception on it has been great but I never used it to transmit. I tried using it on a recent green lane outing, I could not transmit. Turns out the mic was stuffed :(

Makes a difference when your in a group being able to have a bit chat - and find out what's going on without having to get out of the landy and ask all the time. Assuming you can hear anything in your landy of course. Mines a bit loud :)

On the local roads, I just find it's 90% wierdos chatting. On M-ways, you hear truck drivers so that's usually ok.
