Hi guys,
After some advice.
Can anyone tell me the differences between Richards Chassis and Marsland Chassis Defender 110 1991 Chassis?
There is the obvious price difference, but what other differences are there.
I need to order one soon, but not sure which is best?
Biggest downside of the marshland is that they won't stamp the chassis number in for you
I'm just about to buy one so would like to know what that means/entails please?
If you were to stamp it the galv would come off. Its not a major issue but to prove its right im going to fit a plate with the number on it. Ill also keep the remains of the original chassis number in the cab as evidence aswell. I think i might do a few and hide them around the chassis incase the worst happens. Bit OTT but id rather be safe than sorry. You wont regret getting a marsland one, im really happy with mine and they were really easy to deal with![]()

I would not think about keeping the old number plate in it. If it got stolen you got no proof, Stored at home in a safe spot you got proof
I went for a marslands very happy with it iv got 300tdi engine mounts and fuel tank and a td5 rear xmember and they have welded on the brackets for the A frame, i went with them as they were a lot cheaper i didn't see the point in a Richards chassis and i find the original one chassis is strong enough and don't want the extra weight![]()
