Marshland or Richards Chassis?

you can make your own for less, only need one full length of box section and some plate

I don't have an issue welding a new chassis from scratch, nor with the level of such a task, but I do have an issue with the cost of buying the materials over here on the island, and then the added cost of having to ship it off island to get galvanised and then shipping back again, I doubt I would do it cheaper or quicker than purchasing a ready made alternative...

and done right the first time;):D

All I can comment on is the marslands chassis that's what I've fitted to mine. All you can ask for really absolutely no issues with lining anything up .

Just fitted a Richards on mine...rear tub mounts (seatbelt ones) were 20mm out compared to old chassis so took lots of swearing, pry bars and ratchet straps to get it bolted on! Also I went for Richards as I was led to believe holes were cleared of galv, yet I had to file a few holes. No experience with other chassis' so can't compare. I'm not disappointed on the whole but it was a bit of an inconvenience.

i went for the marsland chassis on my 90 as it was cheaper, also used them for my brothers 110, didn't have any problems fitting with either of them.

How much did they knock you off? :p
I'm going to collect one from them on Saturday and would be nice to know :D

Collecting it would have saved me £170 if i bought one. But thats adding a further 3-4 hours driving with a brother who hates driving our TD5 (i dont have a trailer license he does) compared with collecting my marshland chassis (that was awful travelling that far with him :( ). So that plus all my other reasons

What sort of money for a 90 chassis and do you have to wait, I collected a 110 chassis from them last year for my mate:)

All depends on the specification, bog standard 90 is about £1200. Go on their website, they have a great thing where you can choose your specification and see how much it'll cost. That did lead me to choose marshland but it's good non the less
