1.211 Transfer Box WANTED - I have 1.4 to swap?

Hi Chaps,

Preparing for my new diffs with 4.12 CWP, i need to go BACK to a 1.2 box.

Although, i used to be on a V8 spec 1.222 box and now want a 1.211 box, if you say it wont matter, i dont care

Boxes that are acceptable are most likely 36D out of a 300tdi Disco, there will be lots of them about no doubt, but others might do!

P.S. Will have a 1.410 box ready for sale as soon as i have stripped and rebuilt the 1.211, the 1.4 had the same treatment just last year.

So there might be a deal available?

That would leave me a 20D 1.6 ratio to sell, when I got it was told it was 1.4 when I checked it wasn't lol, put new input gear in it as was worn

I've got one here with a brand new input gear and bearings ? came from a 77k 300tdi


Using a warn transfer box now so no need for the LT

What sort of price? I'm looking at a couple on ebay that will need full build so will need full money spending but could be owned for £10.

Presume so as it was 300tdi like you said, need to pick it back up from the workshop on friday so will check the numbers then

does depend on that ratio though

well the new gear and bearings was £76 so asking £14 for the box basically

something like that, it was £76 all in for bearings and the two new 28t input gear

Think the bearings were about £10 each inc the VAT so yeah they're a little pricey now but I made sure to buy timken
