is this the tune resistor picture enclosed

hi can any one confirm that this is the tune resistor. as it dont look the same as the one i found on utube today. it suppose to be located in the drivers side by the steering colume. can some one look at the picture to see if its the one or not. i put 2 pictures location and the resistor well i think it is as its red and there are blue white and green.

hi no the connector looks corroded but its not it just the way the light is as it was dark and i had a torch on it. reason im trying to find if it is it i am doing away with the cats and lambers so i need to put a green one in but the resistors ive seen look diffrent to the one i have on here.also i know about mot but got a good friend in the game.lol
 
Yes it is a tune resistor. Red being 180 ohm for Australia.
Green is UK without cats, I believe white is with, one day I have a look, and Yellow is for the Gulf which don't have cats either I believe.

So the question is Paul, why does you disco have a red tune resistor?

Is it because it's not in the UK but in Australia ;)

hi peter so whats the diffrence with it being australian and uk i will have to look at a link on utube as theres aguy on there who explains about the colours.but im sure he said people change them as i could go out and buy a white one.but i think red is also for eu with cats.i know green is uk no cats.i let you know.
