Hi all,
Have not long picked up a 2002 td5, it has a lowish bite point on the clutch (no other issues with gears/noises) after checking on here it seems it could be slave or master cylinder or just a proper bleed, looking through past bills it had a slave fitted a couple of years ago, just wondered if it was not bled properly as it looks to be a bit of a job? I have asked for a quote from a local garage, seems they want in the region of £700
worst case if it needed a clutch...is that a bit steep?
Also need the sls light switched off due to coils fitted at the rear (mot failure I believe?) they said they would have to run full diagnostic to see whats going on? (to be fair no charge for that) does that sound correct?
Thanks in advance.
Jay.
