A few issues need help with please.

Hi all,
Have not long picked up a 2002 td5, it has a lowish bite point on the clutch (no other issues with gears/noises) after checking on here it seems it could be slave or master cylinder or just a proper bleed, looking through past bills it had a slave fitted a couple of years ago, just wondered if it was not bled properly as it looks to be a bit of a job? I have asked for a quote from a local garage, seems they want in the region of £700 worst case if it needed a clutch...is that a bit steep?
Also need the sls light switched off due to coils fitted at the rear (mot failure I believe?) they said they would have to run full diagnostic to see whats going on? (to be fair no charge for that) does that sound correct?

it doesnt need full diagnostic just switching from air to coil ,bleeding clutch is simple just put a pipe on nipple (7/16 or 11mm spanner)to a jar with a little fluid and bleed till no bubbles ,topping res as you go ,if you have no vibration or clutch slippage you dont need a new one £700 is ok if including new dual mass flywheel
