Hello All

I have a 2000 P38 Vogue V8 4.6 I love it but its driving me nuts. Have been having problems with the air suspension and need some advice. The air suspension runs some days and not others. If I get the car on the motor way or running for a bit the suspension pumps up and all is well. If I leave the car a few days it drops down to the bump stops and some days pumps up others not. The pump is working as they checked when they changed the bag and it kicked in fine. I thought it was a rear airbag and have had that changed and now two days later same thing. Really need someone in the Manchester area who can give me some guidance and maybe even get together to test.

Thanks in advance.

The pump maybe running but is it producing pressure??

Read Wammers How To in the How To section for checking the Compressor for output....my thoughts are you have split air bags and the poor compressor has run itself to death feeding the leak....now you have replaced the bags, the compressor can't generate enough pressure to fill the system.

Also a good call is to get the EASUnlock software and cable from a member on here called Datatek (about £16 + postage I think) as this will allow you to diagnose and clear faults.

But check the compressor output, I suspect this may be fecked!

Changed just one airbag? If one has failed you can bet the others need doing, in any case they should always be changed in axle pairs. I would guess the pump is shagged from feeding leaking airbags.
