the early td5's had the workings but no lever later td5's only had it if it was a factory fit. So if you have late td5 with no diff lock option you will not have the gubbins in transmission.

Pre-2003 had the internals fitted, after 2003, and the fitting of electronic traction control not all transfer boxes had the internals; some did, some didn't as far as I know.
The only way to check definitively is to actually check on the top of the T-box for the activating spigot.

Just to let everyone know, I looked yesterday and diff lock is fitted to the box, got to sort the linkages out now, they seem expensive, has anyone made there own system up, ie air cylinder straight onto thetransfer box, or electric system,
