This weekend i am taking a short drive up to Ely for the cheffins vintage vehicle auction and while clicking through the catalogue found this modest little beauty. I think minus a few lights and the chrome wheel trims it could be a cracking little buy for someone if its as good as it says in the description. Estimated value from the auction house 4-5k.

Also in the same sale is a series/defender hybrid creation, not my cup of tea and imo ugly as sin but is built on a brand new series galv chassis so assuming it has not been messed around with got to be worth £500. Auction valuation 1000-1200

Has that Galvanised bumper been polished? Apart from the grill, the hub caps and the bonnet ornament, that looks a cool series. If it is as good internally, both cosmetically, mechanically and structurally that would be a nice purchase.

There was one of them visors going for 15 quid plus vat in bearmachs yestyday. It had a bit of a dink in it mind. Still had tha blue placky wrap anorl.
